Podgatunek nominatywny znany z zachodniej i środkowej części Alp, drugi podgatunek Nebria (Nebria) jockischii nigricornis Villa występuje w środkowych i wschodnich Alpach, Polskę. Zamieszkuje Nebria (Nebria) jockischii hoepfneri dej zasiedlający środkową Europę w Karpatach i Sudetach, gdzie jest rzadko znajdowany nad górskimi wodami.
