Taxon description
Kawecki 1985:
Gatunek szeroko rozpowszechniony w Europie, znany również z Afryki Zachodniej i Ameryki Północnej. Prawdopodobnie monofag rodzaju Ulmus L.: Szulczewski 1921, 1949 podaje go z Polski także na Alnus glutinosa (L.) Gaertn. i Corylus avellana L. co wymaga sprawdzenia.
