Burakowski et al. 1974:

Gatunek rozmieszczony szeroko od północnej Afryki przez południową i środkową Europę aż do środkowych prowincji Szwecji i sięgający na wschód do zachodniej Azji oraz Ałtaju. Zasiedla suche, nasłonecznione gleby gliniaste i wapienne na otwartych miejscach pokrytych roślinnością trawiastą i krzewiastą.
