Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1973:

Palearktyczny gatunek (nie znany z północnej Afryki), rozmieszczony od Anglii i Francji po Japonię. W Europie nie występuje na skrajnych częściach północnych i południowych. W Polsce częstszy na północy i na wschodzie. Zasiedla lasy różnych typów, raczej dość suche, niekiedy wrzosowiska. Przedkłada nad inne gleby piaszczyste.
