Taxon description

Szelegiewicz 1979:

Gatunek ciepłolubny, rozmieszczony w środkowej i południowo-wschodniej Europie oraz na Zakaukaziu. Monofag, żeruje na dolnej stronie liści klonu polnego — Acer campestre L. Ma dwa pokolenia w roku, różniące się wyraźnie pupariami. Zimuje w postaci puparium drugiego pokolenia, które pojawiają się już w połowie lipca. W tym okresie spotkać można jeszcze na klonach także puparia letnie.
