Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986c:
Gatunek o niedostatecznie poznanym rozsiedleniu, gdyż przez niektórych badaczy uważany za odmianę K. caeruleus (De Geer). Notowany ze środkowej części Europy oraz kilku południowych prowincji Szwecji. W Polsce znany z nielicznych stanowisk w siedmiu tylko krainach. Żyje w starych drzewach i budynkach drewnianych, gdzie żeruje w chodnikach larw kołatków.
