Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1981:

Gatunek rozmieszczony w całej Europie, notowany również z Islandii, Madery, Azorów i Ameryki Północnej. W Polsce znany z nielicznych pojedynczych stanowisk, tylko na Śląsku Dolnym częściej poławiany. Zasiedla pobrzeża wód i gleby wilgotne zarówno na terenach nizinnych, jak i górzystych (do regla górnego). Znajdowany przeważnie pod opadłym listowiem, napływkami, rzadziej w gniazdach mrówek.
