Taxon description
Kawecki 1985:
Rozmieszczony prawdopodobnie szeroko w Palearktyce, W związku z rewizją przeprowadzoną przez Podsiadło (1974a) doniesienia opublikowane przed ukazaniem się wzmiankowanej, pracy wymagają sprawdzenia. Występuje wspólnie z Asterodiaspis variolosa (Ratz.). Żywicielem gatunku są dęby, w Polsce Quercus robur L.
