Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1987:
Gatunek europejski o ograniczonym zasięgu do Karpat i górzystych terenów Węgier (góry Mecsek), Bośni, Chorwacji i Bałkanu północnego. W Polsce chrząszcz mało znany, notowany tylko z Beskidów. Występuje w zmurszałym drewnie pni, gałęzi, pniaków, kłód leżących na ziemi, pod kamieniami, opadłym listowiem i wśród mchów koło pni drzew.
