Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Zachodnia Palearktyka po Mongolię i jezioro Bajkał.
Gatunek holocykliczny i jednodomny. Żyje na gałązkach brzóz — Betula verrucosa Ehrh., Betula pubescens Ehrh., zawsze odwiedzany przez mrówki.
