Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1990b:
Gatunek obejmujący zasięgiem całe Karpaty, Alpy Wschodnie i Góry Dynarskie. Tworzy kilka podgatunków, z których w Karpatach występuje podgatunek nominotypowy. W Polsce znany z nielicznych stanowisk. W Bieszczadach występuje na stokach trawiastych w piętrze połonin. Łowiony od maja do lipca. Żeruje na omiegu górskim — Doronicum austriacum Jacq.
