Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986c:
Gatunek kosmopolityczny, rozprzestrzeniony w niemal całej Europie prócz skrajnych obszarów północnych. W Polsce znany z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk w różnych częściach kraju. Występuje głównie w magazynach produktów żywnościowych, gdzie może wyrządzać pewne szkody, żerując na suszonym mięsie, suszonych rybach oraz nasionach roślin oleistych.
