Taxon description
Gatunek rozsiedlony we wschodniej i południowo-wschodniej części Europy oraz we wschodniej części Europy Środkowej, docierający na północ do Danii, Finlandii, Karelii i południowej Szwecji, notowany ponadto z Bolonii. W Polsce, aczkolwiek nie jest jeszcze znany z wielu krain, występuje prawdopodobnie w całym kraju z wyjątkiem wyższych partii górskich. Zamieszkuje suche i niezbyt wilgotne lasy liściaste i mieszane oraz parki. Bionomia poznana fragmentarycznie. Postacie dojrzałe poławiano na martwym drewnie gałęzi, w wiązkach chrustu, pod korą, opadłymi liśćmi, w ściółce i wśród mchów.
