Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1981:
Gatunek palearktyczny, rozprzestrzeniony w całej Europie, wykazywany także z Afryki i Ameryki. Północnej. W Polsce notowany z nielicznych stanowisk, rozproszonych w różnych częściach kraju. Występuje zarówno na obszarach nizinnych, jak i górzystych. Znajdowany na grzybach, przy soku wypływającym z drzew, pod ekskrementami, rozkładającymi się szczątkami roślinnymi i w napływkach.
