Taxon description
Gatunek znany z całej środkowej i północnej Europy. W Polsce występuje zarówno na terenach nizinnych, jak i górzystych. Znajdowany pod butwiejącymi szczątkami roślinnymi, w pryzmach kompostowych i murszejącym drewnie, rzadziej w grzybach i w gniazdach mrówek Formica rufa L.
