Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1978:
Gatunek zamieszkujący głównie południową i środkową Europę, ponadto notowany z trzech południowych prowincji Szwecji oraz z Kaukazu. W Polsce z wyjątkiem wysokich gór prawdopodobnie występuje w całym kraju. Gatunek o skrytym sposobie życia, wszędzie rzadko poławiany przeważnie w czasie jego lotu w godzinach wieczornych, niekiedy znajdowany w owocnikach grzybów, np. okaz typowy w pieczarce — Agaricus sp.
