Taxon description
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony głównie w środkowej i południowej Europie, notowany również z Wysp Brytyjskich, Holandii, Francji i południowej Szwecji. Z Polski wykazywany tylko z pojedynczych stanowisk w południowo-zachodniej części kraju. Chrząszcz o ukrytym sposobie życia, bardzo rzadko spotykany, niekiedy przypadkowo pod napływkami.
