Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1978:

Gatunek pospolity, szeroko rozprzestrzeniony w Europie, na północy przekraczający koło podbiegunowe, wykazywany również z Syberii i Kaukazu. W Polsce występuje prawdopodobnie w całym kraju, notowany z pojedynczych stanowisk od Pobrzeża Bałtyku aż po Tatry, brak jednak jeszcze udokumentowanych danych z około połowy naszych krain. Występuje na terenach lesistych w starych spróchniałych drzewach oraz na hubach nadrzewnych.
