Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1992:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony w większej części Palearktyki, na wschodzie dochodzi do Azji Środkowej, w Europie sięgający na północ po Wyspy Brytyjskie i południowe obszary Fennoskandii oraz Karelię. W Polsce znany z nielicznych stanowisk rozproszonych w różnych częściach kraju. Występuje głównie w środowiskach suchych. Żyje na różnych gatunkach rozchodników — Sedum L., jak rozchodnik biały — S. album L., r. ostry — S. acre L., r. ościsty — S. reflexum L., r. sześciorzędowy — S. sexangulare L., r. wielki — S. maximum Sut. Larwa żeruje w liściach i łodygach powodując na nich słabe, podłużne zgrubienia. Przepoczwarczenie odbywa się w okrągłym lub owalnym kokonie.
