Taxon description

Szelegiewicz 1979:

Gatunek o niedokładnie poznanym rozmieszczeniu, gdyż do niedawna nie był odróżniany od A. lonicerae Walk., a przez niektórych autorów kwestionowany. Wykazany dotąd tylko z Bawarii, NRD, Polski, Austrii, Czechosłowacji, Węgier i Rumunii. Monofag, żeruje na dolnej stronie liści kopytnika — Asarum europaeum L., na którym tworzy zawsze zwarte kolonie. Liczba pokoleń w roku nie znana; zimują owady dojrzałe (imago).
