Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986c:
Gatunek rozmieszczony w południowej i środkowej części Europy, notowany poza tym z Azji Mniejszej i Cypru. W Polsce wykazany z pojedynczych stanowisk tylko w ośmiu krainach. Zasiedla głównie suche lasy sosnowe. Larwy i postacie dojrzałe występują na pniach i gałęziach młodych sosen opanowanych przez szkodniki — żyją w szparach kory i pod odstającą korą oraz w żerowiskach larw owadów. Gatunek ten jest notowany jako drapieżca rozwałka korowca — Aradus cinnamomeus (Panz.).
