Taxon description
Gatunek zasiedlający Wyspy Brytyjskie, całą Norwegię, środkową Szwecję oraz górzyste obszary środkowej części Europy. W Polsce znany z nielicznych miejscowości w południowej części kraju, przy czym na Śląsku od przeszło 60 lat nie notowany. Występuje wśród żwiru i otoczaków nad strumieniami i potokami.
