Taxon description
Rozmieszczony w południowej części Europy oraz w Europie Środkowej, głównie w jej części południowej. Gatunek ciepłolubny, dlatego też w Europie Środkowej spotykany tylko na suchych i silnie nasłonecznionych stanowiskach. Postacie dorosłe obserwowane były na trawach podczas wyżerania z nich nasion. Z uwagi na warunki środowiskowe tego gatunku, stanowisko w Sudetach Wschodnich wymaga potwierdzenia nowym materiałem. Występowanie u nas wymaga dalszych badań na południowych stanowiskach kserotermicznych.
