Taxon description
Gatunek rzadko notowany z gór i podgórzy w środkowej Europie, rozmieszczenie ogólne słabo poznane z uwagi na trudności w odróżnieniu od Amara (Amara) communis (Panz.). Wymagania ekologiczne również niezbyt dobrze zbadane, przeważnie spotykany w dolinach rzecznych.
