Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1979:
Gatunek górski o zasięgu ograniczonym do obszaru alpejskiego. Z uwagi na rozmieszczenie ogólne wzmianki o występowaniu w Prusach są niewiarygodne. A. Horion (1963) wspomina o dwu okazach muzealnych z załączoną etykietką «Gdańsk», ale jednocześnie ten sam autor uważa, że chrząszcze były błędnie zaetykietowane. Znajdowany na łąkach górskich, pod kamieniami na pobrzeżach potoków i jezior, na kwitnących krzewach olszy zielonej — Alnus viridis (Chaix) Lam. et Dc. oraz na modrzewiach.
