Taxon description
Gatunek europejski, obejmujący zasięgiem Europę środkową oraz obszary zachodnie Morza Śródziemnego i Atlantyku. W Polsce należy do wielkich rzadkości, znany z pojedynczych stanowisk tylko w dwu krainach. Ogólnikowa wzmianka sprzed przeszło 180 lat o występowaniu omawianego gatunku na Śląsku nie znalazła później potwierdzenia. Wymagania ekologiczne i bionomia nie są znane. W Polsce chrząszcze były złowione w czerwcu przez F. Osterloffa na róży.
