Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1985:

Gatunek mało znany, gdyż do niedawna był uważany za podgatunek A. (A.) salicis (Fabr.). W Europie notowany z jej części południowej i środkowej. W Polsce wykazany jedynie z jednego stanowiska przez K. Letznera (1883g) — dane te dotyczą być może tego samego okazu, co wcześniejsze doniesienia tego autora (1871, 1879) o A. (A.) salicis (Fabr). Dokładne rozsiedlenie w naszym kraju będzie mogło być ustalone przez specjalistów na podstawie rewizji zbiorów muzealnych oraz poszukiwań terenowych. Larwy notowano z drzew należących do rodziny różowatych — Rosaceae i klonowatych — Aceraceae. Postacie dojrzałe znajdowano od kwietnia do lipca na różnych roślinach, zwłaszcza żółto kwitnących.
