Taxon description
Gatunek znany z Pomorza, Śląska, Czech, Moraw, wschodniej Austrii, obwodu zakarpackiego Ukraińskiej SRR, dorzecza dolnego Dniepru, z okolic Kujbyszewa oraz z Kirgiskiej SRR. W Polsce chrząszcz rzadko spotykany, notowany z nielicznych stanowisk w sześciu tylko krainach. Łowiony głównie w środowiskach o charakterze ksero termicznym, na ciepłych poboczach dróg i suchych łąkach. Jako roślina żywicielska jest podawany wilczomlecz lancetowaty — Euphorbia esula L.
