Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1991:

Gatunek obejmujący zasięgiem głównie Algierię i południową część Europy, notowany poza tym z Kaukazu, Azji Mniejszej, Syrii, Iraku i Turkiestanu. W Polsce chrząszcz mało znany, notowany tylko jeden raz z okolic Przemyśla i ogólnikowo kilkakrotnie ze Śląska; od przeszło 50 lat już nie wykazywany. Brak A. flaviceps (All.) w kluczu do oznaczania polskich stonkowatych (Warchałowski 1978). Występowanie tego gatunku w naszym kraju winno być potwierdzone nowymi materiałami, tym bardziej że w zbiorze T. Trelli brak okazów dowodowych (A. Warchałowski*).
