Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Europa, Azja Środkowa, Bliski Wschód, Ameryka Północna.
Gatunek holocykliczny i jednodomny. Monofag na rdeście ptasim — Polygonum aviculare L. Żeruje na końcach młodych pędów, zazwyczaj w kątach między łodygą a liściem.
