Taxon description
Gatunek północnopalearktyczny, rozmieszczony głównie w środkowej i północnej części Europy, w Fennoskandii sięgający do skrajnych prowincji północnych. W Polsce notowany z nielicznych stanowisk na obszarach nizinnych i górzystych. Zasiedla tereny bagienne i torfowiska oraz inne środowiska wilgotne. Spotykany przeważnie w ściółce, pod rozkładającymi się szczątkami roślinnymi, ekskrementami, napływkami oraz rzadziej pod kamieniami i na kwiatach.
