Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1981:
Gatunek rozmieszczony prawie w całej Europie (z wyjątkiem północnej części Fennoskandii), notowany również z Azorów, Kaukazu i Syberii. W Polsce znany z nielicznych miejscowości w różnych częściach kraju, przy czym większość danych o rozmieszczeniu opiera się na znaleziskach sprzed przeszło 50, a nawet 100 lat. Poławiany w ściółce, pod opadłymi, wilgotnymi liśćmi, wśród mchów i gnijących szczątków roślinnych, na grzybach kapeluszowych i ekskrementach oraz w spróchniałym drewnie.
