Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1981:
Gatunek zamieszkujący w południowej i środkowej części Europy, na północ docierający do Wysp Brytyjskich, południowej Szwecji i koła podbiegunowego w Finlandii, poza tym notowany z Kaukazu. W Polsce występuje prawdopodobnie na całym obszarze, brak jednak danych o rozmieszczeniu w wielu krainach, a większość doniesień oparta jest na znaleziskach z ubiegłego stulecia. Poławiany przeważnie w lecie i na jesieni w gnijących grzybach.
