Taxon description

Prószyński et Staręga 1971:

Podgatunek zachodnioeuropejski (atlantycki), znany z Wysp Brytyjskich, Francji, Belgii, Holandii, północnych Niemiec, Danii, Norwegii i Szwecji. Drugi podgatunek, Minyrioloides trifrons affinis Schenkel, 1930, żyje na Kamczatce. Zamieszkuje dość wilgotne zarośla.
