Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1973:
Gatunek europejski, halofilny, rozmieszczony na wybrzeżach Atlantyku, Morza Północnego i Bałtyku, zasiedla piaszczyste plaże nadmorskie od Portugalii do południowej Skandynawii (z Finlandii nie wykazany). Żyje na otwartych miejscach w pobliżu lub bezpośrednim sąsiedztwie wody. Ze względu na biotop i sposób życia występowanie w Polsce poza wybrzeżem Bałtyku wydaje się niepewne.
