Taxon description
Gatunek holarktyczny (eurosyberyjski), rozmieszczony szeroko w Europie, na Zakaukaziu, w zachodniej Syberii i na Dalekim Wschodzie (Primorskij Kraj). Polifag, znaleziony u nas na liściach leszczyny — Corylus avellana L., jesionu — Fraxinus excelsior L. i jeżyny popielicy — Rubus caesius L. W Polsce występuje tylko jedno pokolenie w roku. Zimuje puparium.
