Burakowski et al. 1978:

Gatunek pospolity, szeroko rozprzestrzeniony w prawie całej Europie z wyjątkiem skrajnych części północnych i południowych. W Polsce stosunkowo rzadko notowany z obszarów nizinnych i górzystych. Występuje na wilgotnych i bagnistych miejscach wśród mchów i pod rozkładającymi się szczątkami roślinnymi.
