Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1980:
Gatunek europejski, zamieszkujący wąski pas od Francji przez środkową Europę aż do południowej części europejskiej ZSRR. Z uwagi na skryty sposób życia bardzo rzadko spotykany, w Polsce znany z nielicznych stanowisk tylko w pięciu krainach. Zasiedla gniazda podziemne susłów, chomików, królików, myszy i kretów.
