Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1979:
[KFP 1422: Bledius opacus] Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony od Wysp Brytyjskich i koła polarnego w Fennoskandii przez całą środkową Europę aż do Hiszpanii, środkowych Włoch, Hercegowiny i Rumunii, notowany nadto z północnej Afryki i Ameryki Północnej. W Polsce prócz wysokich gór prawdopodobnie występuje na całym obszarze, nie znany jednak z wielu krain. Występuje na wilgotnych, pokrytych szlamem miejscach nad brzegami wód, w dołach po wybranej glinie, piasku i żwirze.

[KFP 1427: Bledius subsinuatus] Gatunek o niedostatecznie poznanym rozmieszczeniu, znany dotychczas z nielicznych stanowisk w środkowej Europie. Przez niektórych badaczy uważany za odmianę Bledius (Hesperophilus) opacus (Block), dlatego też wiadomości o jego występowaniu są bardzo skąpe. W Polsce chrząszcz rzadko spotykany, notowany tylko z kilku rozproszonych stanowisk. Warunki ekologiczne słabo poznane, poławiany przeważnie na pobrzeżach dużych rzek.
