Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Szeroko rozmieszczony w Europie. Dane spoza Europy wymagają rewizji, gdyż gatunek ten był stale mylony z innymi.
Gatunek holocykliczny i jednodomny. Żyje na tarninie — Prunus spinosa L., rzadziej lubaszce — Prunus insititia Juslen. Deformuje liście na wierzchołkach pędów.
