Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986a:
Gatunek rozsiedlony w środkowej i południowej Europie, wykazywany także z Syrii i Algierii. W Polsce notowany z nielicznych stanowisk w pięciu krainach, przy czym według A. Horiona (1960) wzmianka o występowaniu w okolicy Wrocławia budzi wątpliwości z uwagi na niepewne oznaczenie. Postacie dojrzałe poławiane są przeważnie na pokrzywach i kwiatach roślin baldaszkowatych. Larwy tego gatunku, jak zresztą i innych gatunków omawianego rodzaju, odbywają rozwój w kwiatach pokrzyw.
