Taxon description
Gatunek zamieszkujący głównie środkową i północną Europę, gdzie sięga daleko poza koło podbiegunowe, wykazywany również z Kaukazu i Syberii. Biologicznie związany z wrzosowiskami, pokrywającymi zarówno gleby torfowo-piaszczyste jak i próchniczno-kamieniste, unika zupełnie suchego piasku.
