Taxon description
Gatunek zasiedlający Europę Południową, Afrykę Północną, Azję Mniejszą i Kaukaz. W Polsce nie występuje. Wykazał go pod koniec ubiegłego stulecia J. Gerhardt (1891c), prawdopodobnie na podstawie mylnego oznaczenia, ale autor ten później (1910) nie umieścił omawianego gatunku w spisie chrząszczy śląskich.
