Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986c:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony od północnej części Włoch, Krainy i Siedmiogrodu przez Europę Środkową aż do Francji, Belgii i Holandii; wszędzie, również w Polsce, występujący lokalnie, wykazywany w naszym kraju tylko z pięciu krain. Postacie dojrzałe poławiano od maja do sierpnia. Rozwój larwalny odbywa w grzybach należących do rzędu wnętrzniaków — Gasteromycetes. Chrząszcze notowano z czasznicy oczkowatej — Calvatia utriformis (Bull. ex Pers.) O. Jaap i z purchawki chropowatej — Lycoperdon perlatum Pers.
