Taxon description
Gatunek północnopalearktyczny, występujący w całej środkowej i północnej części Europy. W Polsce na ogół notowany z pojedynczych stanowisk w kilku krainach — tylko na Śląsku znany z większej liczby miejscowości. Zasiedla szlamiste pobrzeża rzek, stawów i kałuż oraz zacienione miejsca wilgotne w lasach. Znajdowany pod rozkładającymi się szczątkami roślinnymi i w napływkach.
