Taxon description
Rzadki gatunek, rozmieszczony w północno-wschodniej Europie i na Syberii, z Fennoskandii znany tylko z jednego stanowiska w Szwecji. Błędnie wykazany przez W. Eichlera (1928) z Wyżyny Małopolskiej — Pawłowice pow. Łask; okazy dowodowe, sprawdzone przez J. Makólskiego, należą do Calosoma (Charmosta) maderae auropunctatum (Herbst). Wymagania ekologiczne nie znane.
