Taxon description
Gatunek europejski, przekraczający na północy 70° szerokości geograficznej, znany również z zachodniej Syberii. Żyje w jasnych lasach liściastych i mieszanych, zwłaszcza na glebach humusowych. Występuje też ponad górną granicą lasu, np. w Tatrach w piętrze kosodrzewiny, a w Bieszczadach na połoninach.
