Taxon description
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony w środkowej Europie oraz północnej części południowej Europy, nadto notowany z trzech południowych prowincji Szwecji oraz ze wschodniej części Ameryki Północnej. Występuje na terenach nizinnych i wyżynnych, gdzie zwykle znajdowany jest w wilgotnym piasku na pobrzeżach wód.
