Taxon description
Heintze 1990:
Motyl spotykany w różnych środowiskach, lata od IV do początku VI. Gąsienice, żerujące na wierzbach, tarninach, bylicy, łochyniach, brzozach i wielu in. od V do VII, mają na zielonym tle białożółte paski wzdłuż całego ciała. Na zimę zakopują się w ziemi i przepoczwarczają bez oprzędów.
