Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1990b:

Gatunek rozpowszechniony w niemal całej Europie z wyjątkiem jej części północnej, notowany ponadto z Azji Mniejszej, Kazachstanu, Turkmenii i Iranu. W Polsce, aczkolwiek nie notowany jeszcze z niektórych krain, występuje prawdopodobnie na całym obszarze prócz wyższych partii górskich. Zasiedla słoneczne, trawiaste stanowiska. Postacie dojrzałe pojawiają się w kwietniu i są poławiane do października; żeruje na różnych gatunkach roślin baldaszkowych, zwłaszcza na marchwi zwyczajnej — Daucus carota L., goryszu silnym — Peucedanum cervaria L. i pasternaku zwyczajnym — Pastinaca sativa L.
